MENDOTA- The Mendota High School Board of Education held a special meeting Wednesday to discuss the COVID-19 rate in the district.  They decided to delay the start of school to September 8th.  MHS has announced that they will have multiple strategies to prevent the spread of COVID-19 with social distancing, required face coverings, improved hand hygiene, and the new bell schedule to split students into Purple and Gold days. They have also adjusted hundreds of locker locations to assure social distancing at hallway lockers, and they will no longer use PE locker rooms nor change clothes for PE and Strength classes.
