PERU – A Peru man is facing drug charges after being arrested by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team. They say that Thursday evening they conducted a buy/bust operation in the 2900 block of 4th St in Peru. During the investigation, agents made a controlled purchase of less than one gram of purported heroin allegedly from 29-year-old Justin Cornelison. He was taken to the LaSalle County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
