OTTAWA – The Illinois Housing Development Authority will be releasing funds to renters and homeowners who have been impacted by COVID-19. If you have been unable to pay your rent or mortgage, you may be eligible for relief funds. Applications will be available on August 10th at era.ihda.org for rental assistance, and mortgage assistance will be available on August 24th. Rental assistance is available up to $5,000 and mortgage assistance up to $15,000
