SPRINGFIELD – The U.S. Census Bureau announced that it will begin following up with households that have not yet responded to the 2020 Census. Households can still respond by either mailing back their questionnaire they received, online at 2020Census.gov or by phone at (844)330-2020. Throughout the state, 67.9% of residents have responded, however, in the area De Pue has had the worst turnout, at just 49.2%, compared to Peru, with one of the highest in the area at 76.5%
