IVCC installs contactless fever screening devices at main entrance

OGLESBY – 
Illinois Valley Community College has added devices to make screening for a fever easier and faster.  They have installed new temperature monitors at the main entrance.  Everyone will be required to wear a mask, practice social distancing while on campus.  The contactless, 8-inch terminals are 99.9% percent accurate in less than 1 second. All students, staff and visitors entering the college is required to use the monitors. Many career programs such as industrial maintenance, Emergency Medical Services and electronics will meet face-to-face and online when the fall semester begins Friday.
