UTICA – The LaSalle County Historical Society announced Friday that the 51st Annual Burgoo is cancelled for 2020. The major fundraising event provides the Utica museum with its annual budget, but also impacts the businesses in the surrounding area. They also announced that the LCHS Canal Market will extend to include Sunday, October 4th and Saturday and Sunday, the 10th and 11th. LCHD Board President Mary Holland explained that the decision to cancel was not an easy one, and that she looks forward to the 2021 Burgoo.
