DIXON – A Bureau County man has died after a motorcycle crash Saturday evening. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office say that around 11:20 PM they were called to the area of East River Road and Ravine Ave. in Dixon for a motorcycle that reportedly struck a guardrail. Authorities say 52-year-old Robert Wangelin of Walnut was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lee County Coroner. The crash is still under investigation by the Lee County Coroner’s Office and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
