OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Health Department reported the 53rd covid related death on Monday, a woman in her 80’s. In addition, the department reported 11 new confirmed cases of the virus. The Illinois Department of Public Health reported on Labor Day 1381 new cases out of 28,000 tests, with 8 deaths.
In LaSalle County, 20 people were reported to have recovered, making 817 recoveries out of 1,411 new cases. The new cases on Monday in LaSalle County include:
