Putnam County remains at warning level for COVID-19

PRINCETON – Putnam County remains at a warning level for COVID-19, with new cases per capita being nearly four times higher than the Illinois Department of Public Health advises. Positivity rate was over 12%. Monday the Bureau, Putnam & Marshall County Health Departments reported twelve new cases in neighboring Bureau County and three new cases in Marshall County. Since the pandemic began, Putnam County has had 59 confirmed cases.
 
In addition to daily testing available at Perry Memorial Hospital and St. Margaret’s Hospital,
BPMCHD will offer the following free Covid-19 testing beginning on September 30th:
