DeKalb County now at COVID-19 warning level


DEKALB – DeKalb County is now considered to be at a warning level for coronavirus along with 27 other counties, the Illinois Department of Public Health reported. A county is placed on a warning level when two or more COVID-19 risk indicators increase, such as the number of deaths or new cases per 100,000 people. In addition, 29 additional positive COVID-19 cases were reported in DeKalb County. In total, 1,711 cases have been seen in DeKalb County, along with 39 deaths.
