OTTAWA – 25 new COVID-19 cases were reported Monday in LaSalle County. The individuals who tested positive range in age from youth to their 90s. The LCHD also reported 30 more recoveries. Since the start of the pandemic, 1,861 people in the county have tested positive with only 525 active cases remaining. In addition, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced 1,853 new COVID-19 cases, with 14 additional deaths. The state has reported 303,394 total cases of coronavirus and 8,805 COVID-19 related deaths.
