OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Health Department on Thursday announced that 16 more individuals are now considered recovered from COVID-19, however, there were nearly twice as many new infections. They reported that 31 new infections of the novel coronavirus were discovered, bringing the total number of infections since the pandemic began to 1,920. According to the IDPH, Streator has had the most cases in the area since the beginning of the year, with 406, followed by Ottawa with 320 and Mendota with 300.
