SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health announced that 31 additional people have died from complications due to the novel coronavirus. Also on Saturday, the state said that 2,905 people tested positive in the past 24 hours out of 66,000 tests. The LaSalle County Health Department reported on Saturday that a man in is 80’s is the 58th COVID-19 related deaths in the county. The department also said 14 new positive cases were confirmed.
The new cases in LaSalle County include:
