STREATOR – The 4th grade students at Centennial Elementary School in Streator will be doing schoolwork from home for the next week and until at least November 4th due to a positive COVID-19 case. Principal Anne McDonnell sent a letter out to parents notifying them that this was being done out of an abundance of caution. Tentatively they plan on returning to class on November 5th, but she says that may change depending on what they hear from the LaSalle County Health Department. Teachers will be contacting families to distribute information, schedules, and to answer any questions.
