OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Health Department reported 1 additional COVID-19 related death, a female in her 90s, as well as 85 more cases. This is the highest daily case count the county has seen. The health department asked that all residents of the county do their part to slow the spread of coronavirus as the holiday season approaches. They emphasize the importance of face coverings, maintaining a 6 foot social distance, and avoid gatherings with those not in your household, as well as getting a flu shot.
