OTTAWA – A Plainfield man is dead after a single vehicle crash Friday evening in rural LaSalle County. The LaSalle County Coroner said on Monday that 49-year-old Mark B. Wehde was driving on Illinois 178 when for unknown reasons he left the roadway near Lowell. The crash remains under investigation by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office and the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office.
