SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health confirmed 125 new COVID-19 related deaths throughout the state, which included 2 individuals from Bureau County and 8 from LaSalle County. Since the start of the pandemic, the IDPH has reported 11,677 deaths and 674,089 cases, with just under 9,500 confirmed Tuesday. In preparation for Thanksgiving, the IDPH also released food safety tips to remind Illinois residents how to keep safe from foodborne illnesses during the holiday.
