
PONTIAC- The Livingston County Health Department on Tuesday reported the death of a man in his 90’s from complications related to COVID-19. They also noted 41 more positive test results for the novel coronavirus. Since the pandemic began, 24 individuals in the county have died from the disease and 2,293 people have tested positive. The health department advises everyone to adhere to all of the required precautions necessary to protect their families and the community by slowing the spread of the COVID-19 virus, including wearing a mask and staying at least 6’ from others when in public, as well as frequently washing hands and sanitizing regularly touched surfaces.
