PERU – The LaSalle County Health Department announced that this coming weekend a temporary drive-thru testing site for the novel coronavirus will be coming to Peru. This Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM – 4 PM at the Illinois Valley Regional Airport, you will be able to get tested for free for COVID-19. They will be using a simple nasal swab and you will be getting called with results within 7 days. They do ask you bring your insurance card if possible, and that you do not have to have symptoms or be sick to be tested.
