SPRING VALLEY – The Spring Valley Fire Department tackled a pair of vehicle calls over the weekend. On Friday evening around 6 PM they were called to I-80 for a vehicle fire on the eastbound shoulder. The vehicle was a total loss, but both occupants were able to escape, one requiring hospitalization. An update on their condition was not available. On Sunday afternoon around 5 PM on Marquette Bottom Road they were called for a single vehicle rollover crash. Upon arrival, the driver was not able to be located, but reportedly had arrived at a local hospital. Their condition was also not disclosed.
