PONTIAC – A man is dead after being hit by a train in Round Grove Township on Thursday of last week. According to the Livingston County Coroner’s Office, 40-year-old Thomas L. Vaughn of Elwood was driving northbound on 3300 East Road when he allegedly failed to stop at a railroad crossing that had a westbound train passing through. No further information was released.
