Woodland Community School District will have in-person learning on Wednesdays

STREATOR – Woodland Community School District will now have in-person learning on Wednesdays starting on March 3rd.
PreK-6th grade will attend in-person 5 days a week.
7th-12th grade students will continue attending school in-person on the same days they are currently scheduled to attend. They will also be able to attend on scheduled Wednesdays based on the color group they were assigned. Each color-group of students will stay home for a remote day to continue to account for social distancing and space within the school on a rotation.
March 3rd – Black Group Remote Day
March 10th – Grey Group Remote Day
March 17th – White Group Remote Day
March 24th – Red Group Remote Day
The “Choice” – Last Round
According to Woodland Community Unit School District 5, if you wish to change the placement setting of your student, whether in-person or remote, you must notify Mr. Burcenski or appropriate office staff by Thursday, February 25th, at 2:00pm. If you want NO CHANGE to your student’s placement, you do not have to call in at all. Students will begin their change in setting on Monday, March 1st.
Students in PreK-6 would be available to attend Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday starting that week.
Students in grades 7-12 are assigned color groups and days for their in-person attendance. We will confirm your group and days of attendance after you contact us.
