PRINCETON – A man from Princeton is dead after a crash in rural Bureau County. The Bureau County Sheriff’s Office stated in a press release Wednesday that they were called to US Route 6 near Park Ave around 5:15 PM Tuesday, where they located a truck involved in a crash. They say a 72-year-old man, the driver and sole occupant, was taken to an area hospital and later pronounced deceased. The crash is still under investigation and the identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
