STREATOR – The City of Streator announced they will be conducting a public hearing Wednesday to hear from the community about their intent to apply for a housing rehabilitation grant. The grant would fund the rehab of 10 owner-occupied homes in two different census parcels. Residents are encouraged to attend especially if they reside in the block group. The city needs 10 residents from the area to go forward with the grant application. Residents in the area should have received a letter in the mail regarding the hearing at 7 p.m. at Streator’s City Hall.
