MENDOTA – The driver of a tractor trailer suffered minor injuries after a crash on I-39 Thursday night. Around 6:30 PM Mendota and Troy Grove first responders were called to the northbound shoulder about two miles north of the US Route 34 interchange for the truck and trailer laying on its side. The driver was transported to an area hospital and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. It took crews six hours to remove the truck.
