A woman in her 70’s was the 314th Covid death in LaSalle County since the pandemic began in March of 2020. The LaSalle County Health Department released the latest weekly data on Friday, and reported 30 new cases in the past week. Unlike the early days of the virus, the latest cases skew a lot younger, with 1/3 of the cases people under 30, and only 4 cases from people over 60. According to data from the health department and Studstill Media, the 7 day rolling average for cases is now over 4, the highest its been since June 14th.
