MENDOTA – OSF Multispecialty Services is pleased to announce the DAISY Award was recently presented to Tamera Henkel, RN, BSN from the OSF Medical Group – Family Medicine, Washington Street office located in Mendota. Tammy has been an OSF Mission Partner for over twenty-five years and resides in Sublette.
“We truly appreciate the compassionate care that RNs perform every day and the DAISY Award is one way to recognize these dedicated individuals,” said Kim Foster, manager of the OSF Medical Group offices in Mendota.
Henkels’ nomination reads, “Tammy is a nurse in the Washington Street Clinic and is always smiling, helpful, caring and goes above and beyond for our patients. She is known for being able to get patients into the office to get their immunizations administered and on time. She has built trust with the community and the office by being efficient and professional in all her interactions. She has an incredible rapport with patients and serves with great care and love every day. We love working with her and feel she should be recognized for the DAISY Award for being an exceptional person, nurse and Mission Partner.”
