OGLESBY – Students planning to attend Illinois Valley Community College next fall have until February 10th to apply online for Foundation scholarships.
Current students, high school seniors and anyone planning to enroll in fall or spring 2022-23 courses is welcome to apply for nearly 200 Foundation awards. Scholarships range in value from $500 to $4,500. In total, up to $400,000 will be disbursed. Awards are available in specific disciplines ranging from agriculture and automotive to manufacturing and welding. There are also about 50 “open” scholarships available to students in any course of study.
The online application at www.ivcc.edu/scholarships is due by 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10. Applicants must also submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.studentaid.gov.
