EARLVILLE – In a letter sent to parents from Earlville Community Unit School District 9, they indicated that they will be temporarily suspending the enforcement of the mask mandate and exclusion for asymptomatic close contacts for all district students. They noted the district is not a party to the restraining order, and if a stay of that order is issued, they will resume enforcement of the COVID-19 requirements for all students. Masking on school buses is still required by the CDC.
