OGLESBY – The North-Central Illinois community is invited to take an inside look at the drug epidemic’s impact in the community tonight, through a Zoom presentation with Illinois Valley Community College. Luke Tomsha, founder of the Perfectly Flawed Foundation, will once again join in on discussions and take center stage to focus on the stigma still attached to drug use and the importance of education in counteracting it.
The “One Book, One College”, a community-reads program, will also be based on the book, Eric Eyre’s “Death in Mud Lick: A Coal Country Fight Against the Drug Companies that Delivered the Opioid Epidemic.” to join the virtual event at 6 pm visit www.ivcc.edu/onebook
