LASALLE – The city of LaSalle authorized their side of an agreement with the city of Peru to make improvements to the area of 24th and Wenzel Road. City Engineer Brian Brown says the roadway will be completely closed for around 2-3 months. He says he’s working on getting more manpower to get the project done faster. The roadway will be designed to handle stormwater, and be widened by 7 feet. Bids for the project are expected to be received by the end of this week.
