OTTAWA – A Justice man is in custody after an alleged robbery at an oasis/gas station on Route 71 in Ottawa. According to the Ottawa Police Department, upon arrival to the scene officers spoke with the victims and witnesses to the incident. Police say it was reported that the suspect indicated he had a weapon and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect reportedly took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area. Officers say they quickly located the suspect inside another building near the oasis and identified the individual as 28-year-old Kyle A. Buss of Justice, Illinois. Buss is charged with one count of Robbery and is being held at the LaSalle County Jail.
