OGLESBY – Illinois Valley Community College’s Ag Club will join the Bureau County Farm Bureau in celebrating National Agriculture Day Tuesday. Club members will wear IVCC ag gear and attend a free viewing of the movie “Rancher, Farmer, Fisherman” at 6 PM in the cultural centre. IVCC’s tractor will be decorated with a banner and parked along Orlando Smith Road and an ag booth will be set up inside the front entrance. The 49th annual National Agriculture Day sponsored by the Agriculture Council of America is celebrated in classrooms and communities across the country. This year’s theme is “Growing a Climate for Tomorrow.”
