OTTAWA – Bridge replacement on Interstate-80 in Bureau County begins on Monday. The Illinois Department of Transportation plans to replace bridges that cross Maple Grove Creek, located six miles west of Highway 26. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction through fall, when the $2.5 million dollar project is expected to be completed. Motorists should prepare for delays in the area and should consider alternative routes.
