SPRING VALLEY – The City of Spring Valley was awarded a safe route to school grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation. The approved project includes a new sidewalk for children in the community to reach school safely. New sidewalks will be coming to Posetti Drive from the Heather Apartment Complex to Strong Ave, nearly a half mile in length. The project will create a safe path for children to get to John F. Kennedy Elementary School.
