Streator woman facing multiple charges after traffic stop

STREATOR – A Streator woman is facing multiple charges after being taken into custody by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. LaSalle County Sheriff’s Adam Diss reported that 24-year-old Aymee L. Wilinski allegedly possessed a 9mm handgun and a felony amount of cannabis during a traffic stop on March 4th. Another handgun was also reportedly found in the vehicle. Last Thursday, deputies from the Sheriff’s Department and agents from the ATF took Wilinski into custody in the 1200 Block of South Bloomington Street. She was taken to the LaSalle County Jail where she is being held on a $750,000 bond. Wilinski was charged with Armed Violence, a Class X Felony, and Possession with the Intent to Deliver Cannabis, a Class 3 Felony.
