OGLESBY – Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park officials need your help cleaning up parks tomorrow. The parks have had plenty of foot traffic as summer comes to an end, especially after the Labor Day weekend and officials say the community can register to clean up litter around the park’s trail systems and canyons. Pickers and bags are provided and volunteers are asked to dress for the trails and bring their own pair of gloves. The Utica Fire and Rescue boat will be assisting by collecting bags of litter at Wildcat Canyon and LaSalle Canyon from the river.
