A neighborhood gang of kids between the ages of six and eleven years old were looking out for one of the moms on the block. They noticed a strange man had walked into her home and wanted to make sure that she was ok. They wrote a note asking her to contact one of the other moms in the neighborhood by text and let her know that she is ok. They taped it to the front door, rang the bell, and then ran across the yard to wait. When she got to the door, she didn’t notice the note at first but saw the kids watching her. They pointed to the note, and after she read it, she walked over to the kids and thanked them for being concerned. The strange man is her ex-husband who had come over to help prep the pipes in the house for the incoming cold front.
