LOS ANGELES – Pilot Brock Peters, who is only 18 years old is a hero to his family. While flying with three family members on board, he heard a pop and then lost power in his aircraft. “I had my grandmother,” Peters explained. “She was crying in the back. I had to tune her out and tune everybody on.” He’s been flying since he was 16 years old, however, he just recently got his license for solo trips. He was able to tune out his family and go through a mental checklist from his training to safely land the plane on the roadway near Cajon Boulevard and Mathews Ranch Road. All three passengers and Peters were unharmed and he was able to successfully land his plane without any incidents.
