PERU – The Junior Achievement of the Heartland raised $3,430 locally for their programs at the annual Bowl-A-Thon held last Saturday. Teams from area businesses enjoyed an afternoon of bowling at the Illinois Valley Super Bowl and raised $3,430 for student programs for schools across north central Illinois. Junior Achievement is a program that connects schools with volunteers who engage students with programs in school to help teach life and career schools across many grade levels and areas of study.
