PERU – A garage was destroyed in a fire Tuesday evening in Peru. The Peru Fire Department say they were called by the homeowner around 6 PM to the 1900 block of West Street for the blaze, which engulfed the detached garage. No injuries were reported. According to Peru Fire Chief Jeff King the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
