Ottawa woman identified in apartment fire


 
OTTAWA – An Ottawa woman is dead as a result of an apartment fire in Ottawa, according to the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office. Coroner Richard Ploch says, 39-year-old Rendelle Farrell of Ottawa died of smoke inhalation and carbon monoxide intoxication as a result of the March 15th fire in the 100 block of West Campbell Street in Ottawa. The incident remains under investigation by the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office, Ottawa Police and Fire Departments, and the Illinois State Fire Marshall.
