GRAND RIDGE – A Streator man has died two weeks after a fatal crash that also took the life of an Ottawa teen. On the evening of October 8th authorities were called to the intersection of East 18th and North 21st road for the crash east of Grand Ridge. According to authorities 21-year-old Austin M. Zimmerman passed away at a Peoria hospital on Thursday from injuries sustained in the crash. It was previously reported that 17-year-old Marisol A. Green of Ottawa was killed in the two vehicle collision. The crash is still under investigation by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office and the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office.
