New Mayor in Ottawa

OTTAWA – Voter’s in the city of Ottawa elected a former commissioner as their next Mayor. Daniel F. Aussem will replace outgoing Mayor Robert M. Eschbach. Aussem came in with 52 percent of the vote, while opponent Julie Johnson trailed in at nearly 48 percent of the vote.

Incumbent Mayor Retains Seat in Streator

STREATOR –  Streator Mayor Jimmie Lansford and incumbent councilmen will be keeping their seats after the 2019 Consolidated Election. Incumbent Jimmie D. Lansford had nearly 57 percent of the vote, while opponents Joseph Scarbeary came in with 29 percent and Siobhan Elias with 14 percent

Princeton Keeps Mayor, Raises Sales Tax
