IVCC Volley Ball Camp

June 28 - 30

Illinois Valley Community College will offer youth and high school volleyball camps for girls and boys ages 8-to-17 Friday, June 28 through Sunday, June 30 in the gym. Beginner Camp meets 9 a.m. to noon June 28 and 29 and 9 to 10:30 a.m. June 30. High School Prep Camp meets 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. June 28 and 29 and 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 30. IVCC Youth Basketball Camp

July 8 - 11

The Illinois Valley Community College men’s basketball team will host its annual basketball camp Monday through Thursday July 8-11 in the gym. Camp for first to fifth graders is 9 to 10:45 a.m.; sixth through ninth graders is 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Head coach Chris Herman and his players will work with participants on fundamentals. LPHS Summer Woods Camp

July 9 - 11

 All seventh- and eighth-graders from LPHS elementary sender schools are invited to apply to take part in the first Summer Woods Camp at LPHS. The free program will provide students a hands-on learning opportunity to construct a product using all major tools in a wood shop. The Free Lunch Program sponsored by the Deacons of Park Church and the Hardscrabble Lions Club is held the 2nd Saturday of each month at Park Place, 406 E. Hickory St., Streator with serving from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
