MENDOTA – A man traveling from Florida to Illinois who had been reported missing on March 16th still has not been found, but his vehicle has.
According to the Mendota Police Department a 2017 Kia Sportage matching the description given by the family last known to be driven by 69-year-old Stanley B. Vodden was recovered shortly before noon today. The vehicle was found by the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office in floodwaters adjacent to the Mississippi river in Tennessee. A search operation is underway in the area in an attempt to locate Vodden.
