STREATOR – No injuries were reported in a structure fire in Streator on Sunday morning. According to the Reading Volunteer Fire Department, they responded to the 300 block of Carriage Lane after a shed caught on fire. Lieutenant Darrell Porter said the fire then extended into a trailer and caused an estimated $20,000 worth of damage. No injuries were reported however the family says they’ve lost everything. Firefighters responded to the fire over a span of 10 minutes and had the fire out within 15 minutes. Firefighters were on the scene for an hour and a half. Long Point, Cornell and Streator Firefighters all assisted at the scene.
