ILVY Dolphin swimmer qualifies for Nationals Competition

PERU – The ILVY Dolphins from the Illinois Valley YMCA hosted their Monster Splash Invitational Sunday.  During the meet, five national cut times were obtained.  This included Streator senior Nolan Deats from the Dolphins on his 100 Fly with a time of 52.29, within one second of the national cut time.  Deats competed last season at Nationals on this event as well.
Also making national cut times during the meet were two swimmers from the YMCA of Rock River Valley Sting Rays.  Jeremy Mueller qualified in the 100 freestyle with a time of 47.96.  Camden Taylor qualified in three events.  In the 200 individual medley, Taylor had a time of 1:57.08, in the 100 freestyle he had a 47.96, and in the 100 breaststroke, he had a time of 1:00.82.
Nationals will be held in Greensboro, North Carolina April 3rd – April 7th.
