Oglesby residents are invited to view the newest concept plan and offer comments on the proposed development of Senica Square on Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 1 to 3 p.m., at City Hall.
City staff will be on hand to answer questions about the project and gather comments from the public.
The project will feature a permanent band shell, restrooms, a water feature and an ice skating rink, as well as native trees and plants and a paved surface for accessibility. The park is part of the city’s plans to create a gathering spot for residents and visitors in the downtown area. Currently, the lot is used for the farmers market and other city sponsored events.
